British Gas Home Care

I have been having trouble with my wireless communication from the hive(a BG special ) to the boiler which will not communicate and BG tell me it will take 2 days to send an engineer.In the past after several hours I have been able to get it re-tuned in.This seems to happen every few months and the hive is less than 18 months old,would this be a cheap line BG bought from China as the Hive people say it is not one of theirs.I find BG not very helpful.Has anyone had similar problems or is normal with consumer insurances.
