Merchant Navy Day 2024
Good to see some UK councils flying the Red Ensign yesterday in commemoration of the thousands of merchant seafarers who lost their lives in two world wars last century. In my view all councils and public buildings should do the same. Sadly not a mention of Merchant Navy Day on any TV channel that I saw.
