- I sailed as an apprentice and then 3rd Mate with Reardon Smith from 1959 to 1966. Then emigrated to Australia, sailed briefly with ANL and then joined BHP in various shore-side capacities. After 33 years with BHP managed a small family concern in Williamstown Victoria, Korevaar Marine whose main business involved bunkering vessels in Melbourne and Adelaide.
Now happily retired and sailing my yacht around Port Philip Bay. - Location
