- Served 23 very enjoyable years in the Royal Navy, seen most of the world apart from Russia. Highlight of my career was a three year accompanied draft to Hong Kong where my eldest son was made and born!

Spent 7 years working for BAE Systems as a Senior Systems Engineer and leading the team testing Mission systems and Sensors on the Nimrod MRA4 Maritime Patrol Aircraft between 2001-2008.
Between January 2008 and July 2013 I worked as a Consultant for 3SDL on Tactical Data Links, ISTAR and Communications on a number of platforms in many nations throughout Europe and Australasia.
In July of 2014 I started my own business working in Defence Communications and Systems - I have recently been contracting to BAE Systems Future Combat Air System Group, Ultra electronics and Saab (Sweden) integrating new systems into ships of the Royal Swedish Navy
I am interested in researching my family history and I was very pleased to find out that there has been one of my ancestors at sea for over 300 years.
