Biography

I was an engineer with BP Shipping, joining as a cadet in 1971. I left in 1986 when the company made all seafarers redundant. Sailed mainly on motor vessels, obtaining a first class motor ticket, and a class 4 steam ticket. Now retired after many years as an engineer with the NHS.
