- hi im ben, originally from the Isle of Wight but now living in Devon, I have always had a fascination with tugs, barges, dredgers, floating bridges and Isle of Wight car ferries.
I previously worked on the floating bridge at Cowes for a while, it was a job I really enjoyed and is one of my favourites out of my many careers, currently I am working in a quarry extracting and processing stone but still like to follow histories of certain vessels and keep abreast of what is happening in the world of shipping - Location
