- I was in the merchant navy for 15 years after joining Cunard Line at 18yo, after 6 years I briefly worked for GEEST Line, Stena Line and I then went onto become a Purser for British Channel Island Ferries from 1987 till 1993 after which I joined P&O Ferries at Portsmouth, I now work in the Port of Southampton as a port agent where I have been since 2006.
