- Biography
- Joined T&J Brocklebank in 1960 as Junior Engineer. Worked my way up to Senior Third Engineer. In 1969 I was posted to ACL, (Atlantic Container Lines), to stand-by new-build 'Atlantic Conveyor'. 'Atlantic Causeway' was, (suddenly!!), a 'Third' short and I was posted to her. Stayed with 'Causeway' until I left 'Brock's' and 'The Merch' in 1974, (marital reasons!).
