- I immigrated to Australia from Scotland in 1970 and was almost nine years old when we arrived. My father was a merchant navy officer in the engine room. My father has passed away and I have no information about his time in the merchant navy. I’m hoping to find some details on the ships he served on, where he went and maybe other details about his service.
