Robert J Macy Naval Architect and Marine Engineer
Hi
Who can advise where I may locate information on the career of Robert J Macy in the 1940s 1960s' He worked on his own behalf out of Moss Point MS and also did a lot of work for Ingalls Shipbuilding. He also wrote a lot of books on ship safety. Anyone got a complete list of his publications. On top of all that he worked for Ingalls in constructing their one and only diesel locomotive known as the Ingalls 4-S. Built between Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula MS, and Ingalls Iron Works in Decatur AL. Anyone out their know of relatives etc who may have worked on the loco project.
