This year there have been two survivors of Voyager disaster have come forward.
Google The Guardian Australian Edition Voyager Disaster.I would question the the telegraphist's version but don't doubt the od from the wheel house. The book Breaking Ranks, fundamentally near the truth but with a bit of FIG JAM. (f-ck i'm good just ask me).

Watched an episode last night about a Scallop Trawler Lady Mary, off the coast of New Jersey. One survivor and six drowned two of them brothers. Very interesting show but the technical content was only about 25% of the running time.
I know that these shows would not sell without the Human Interest angle perhaps a lifetime seafaring has turned me into a cold, hard bugger.
