Hello

Hello, I am Ted Hooton and I am interested in shipping during the Spanish Civil War, the Iran-Iraq Tanker War and Japanese or Japanese-controlled shipping between 1941 and 1945

Hi Spearfish, I've just come across your post of December last re shipping during the Spanish civil war, I hope its not too late but may I direct you to a book titled RED SHIP RED TAPE which was launched a few weeks ago and details the pros and cons of the Republican Spanish destroyer "Jose Luiz Diaz" which sought refuge here in Gibraltar and which you may find interesting.
The book is not on sale but I believe it can be acquired by giving a donation to the Trust.
Try to contact gibraltarheritagetrust.org.gi or Gibraltar Heritage Trust Shop John Mackintosh SQ Gibraltar.
Regards
G.Gaskin.
