The glorious pasty

https://www.gbnews.com/news/pensione...pasty-cornwall

Quite understandable. The media fail to understand the passions that run high here in the West Country where the pasty is concerned.

al1934 .

I love my pasties and also have a Mobility Scooter but i would not
go that far .

Laugh is my Scooter is a big one dual purpose for pavement [ 4 MPH ]
or road [ 8 MPH ] get free road tax from DVLA , i pay £70 insurance to
use on road
DVLA gave me a reg number which is not compolsory to fit .

Also logbook which classes the mobility scooter in same class as a
electric car .

All the best .

Tony

What a glorious language English is, in the USA, a pasty is a little device used to hide a nipple in strip clubs (or was used, anyway, when there were restrictions on strip clubs).

The term "Cornish pasty" has been given protected status by the European Commission.

It means that only pasties made in Cornwall from a traditional recipe can now be called "Cornish pasties", the Cornish Pasty Association (CPA) said.

The Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status means "genuine" Cornish pasties will now be stamped with a special logo.

Now every bakery in UK and Ireland can bake Cornish Pasties aka Whores Handbags. Thousands of Cornish Ladies will be unemployed and brushwood will be blowing in the streets of Padstow. It will teach the French not to fcuk with John Bull.

I think stamping them may spoil the pastry.

ES is a man of many talents, he also runs a "chippie" in Belfast with the finest pink pasties this side of the shuck.

A proper pork pie for boxing day is a delight. Too late to get the making now 'though.

I use Willaston - their steaky is tastier although they have difficulty slicing it thinly enough. Andrea Meats is the very thing for Manx pig (as good as our lamb) and its curings but have let me down once WRT delivery.
