Perhaps if you hadn't inspected it, it wouldn't have hit the rocks

Ha ha! When I was looking it over, one of the shipyard guys laughed (regarding salvage items) and said,¨look, there´s an anchor - Obviously hasn´t been used!¨.

No, I notice the incongruity of my comment! It was only aimed at firing up anew the thread "that won't die"!

Just looking at another - The "Party Boat!", out for six days, totalled a refueling jetty on return at nearly six knots! Hmmmm. ? I wonder why?

Unfortunately life is not the same as iPlayer - you have to watch each episode in turn and you can't skip forward.... or rewind come to that.

Personally I'm a proponent of one of the greatest philosophers ever known:

Popeye.

♫ I am what I am and that's all that I am. ♪

Some philosophers state that to do is to be
Others claim that to be is to do.
Frank Sinatra summarised it and said ' Doobee doobee do.'

Can't wait until May, will you settle for Easter? And you can put on your Easter Bonnet (with all the frills upon it)..........

One minute you are young and fun,
The next, you are turning down the car radio to see better.

you wouldn't get a chance to see your GP. Probably fended off by the receptionist who will tell you that you shouldn't bother the doctor when there is a perfectly good pharmacy you can visit. ( Do I sound bitter?)

I live in Dublin and do not qualify for a free medical card, MNOPF is too high (Believe it or not). I pay 65 Euro for a visit to the GP, rarely turned down. It's only a hairsbreadth away from the GP saying, "You dash me small".
Easy money and keep a good eye on the NHS.

For the benefit of those who missed it:
Today is Star Wars day or even Jedi day...

May the fourth be with you.

Ahhh memories of the Deep Sea on Leith Walk. (It was still there when I visited a couple of years ago ... )

Here's one little ship's payload that's covered more miles than any sea going ship ever built. But what is interesting about this is the sound they decided to capture when this test flight was conducted.

As well as the deep hum of the little chopper, you get to hear the eerie sound of Martian wind blowing over stark desolation. A bit disturbing, but cryogenically cool.
