Pot, this is kettle. Kettle, this is pot.

Dragged in with the milk, perhaps.

Allow darts and next you will have people clipping their toe nails in the Saloon and blowing their noses in the napkins (or serviettes as they so quaintly call them). Call me a snob if you wish but we must have an ethos and set of values.
I think what E-S is trying to tell us is that he can't play darts worth a damn. Best he stick to Crazy 8's and Snap. Not ethos, but pathos on his part -- jealous of my perfectly balanced gold titanium tipped darts with the flights fashioned from Bald Eagle feathers.

Enough of this Frenchie stuff for the time being. Heading out tomorrow for Antwerp. And if E-S starts singing "Oh! Danny Boy" we can be sure it's melancholia for the bar and not the Irish feller.

Danny's Bar! keep your voice down or the Plasticos will be getting all excited again. Dont like gay bars myself...prefer the mini skirted waitresses in upmarket bag off bars.

FFS Billy you'll get us all jailed. Gay indeed, it's LGBTQIA. Botty Boys have rights too and they apparently are sensitive souls.
We also have a nice term for Upmarket Bag-Off Bars but for the life of me I can't remember it, Bag Shanty seems to ring a bell but I could be wrong. Ask T1790.

Must have been a ship in (a boat?) ahead of us their soul's will be back to normal after a day or so's rest. The difference between a house of ill repute and a brothel is that the latter has a decent piano player and humidor.

(Surely there must be a Jane's authority to guide the inexperienced?)

I didn't mind doing the Can-can in the line up, it was the miserable buggers in the front row with the air pistols.

One did not need to go to Paris for a good can-can. Miranda's would put on a show once the [passed round hat had enough in it).

Antwerp! My best pal's mother was brought up there, she remembered walking across a road crossing when her bloomers fell down. She walked on calmly, but the policeman on point duty handed them back to her. Draped on the end of his truncheon perhaps?

Any city with that level of politeness must be good.

What if there is no road crossing when her bloomers fall?

Well, they wouldn't fall I suppose. Same with the policeman.

I think it is something to do with one hand clapping in a wood.

If your best pal's mother was nicer to the American GI's she would have had yards of knicker elastic, which could be used as bloomer elastic.
Could FJ's best pal explain why mum preferred bloomers over knickers, in a most delicate manner and how often they "Fell Down"?
Did any of us think that being on Points Duty in Antwerpen could be so laden with possibilities. Are the police still recruiting?

American knickers....One yank and they're off

Injuneers go commando 1, we are like the Duracell Bunny, always ready for action and 2, keeps the skid marks off the shreddies

Well this Injuneer don't go commando, those bloody ferrets would be up the leg of your boilersuit like a weasel up a drainpipe. Untold damage could be done and a major depression would settle over Red 17, Sister Eleff and T's Tiller Girls in the steering flat.
I insist on elasticated legs on my drawers but much mirth is caused among the girls in Marks & Sparks. Tarts.

I don't know E-S. somewhere in the vicinity of Soho and St.James's within walking distance of wherever it is St.Wilfrid's School Old Boys had (and maybe still going to have) their annual (sadly not that frequent any longer) dinner. From callow youth to coffin dodger the die-hards would make their way to Miranda's afterwards. When one of the former my cousin deviated and took me to the New Twilight. That may just have been at the behest of Pa 'to get the boy started'. Uncle Bruv, a founding pupil, then being an unlikely chaperone, although he did take me to the Admiral Duncan (the family connection I think but who knows).

(There is a plot hatching for another outing amongst the seriously diminished and certainly callow youthless gang as I tripe. A bit late in the year for our communal rheumatism in my opinion).

Started on what?
Drink
Drugs
Chewing Tobacco
McDonalds

You should have been brought to Hamleys. Hornby is also habit forming and saves you storing suitcases in the roof-space.

Who is coming ashore for a few beers? We could watch for road crossings too, I bet we could be quicker than a policeman.
