Thanks for the link Geoff. I've told my children and G/children that I felt lucky to be there at the birth of Rock 'n Roll. To me it was like a breath of fresh air. Buddy and The Crickets were my favourite group/band and I admit to shedding tears on 3/2/59 aged 16.
When I could afford to buy a Fender Strat. guitar, I got the re-issue of the 1957 Tobacco Sunburst one as seen on the Chirping Crickets LP. I had that album back then and only recently got a replacement one off ebay. JJ.
