Oh Varley, thought I saw you in there having a tonsorial adjustment. The barbering is not what it could be, but the gossip is so good.

I quite like the Lobster Humidor as well.

Tmac, turn the high level alarm off, we all know you have it set at half full so you hope someone else will sort it. Don't forget the overflow is subject to gravity and the Bridge is at the top of things.

If Tmac can coax his roaring monsters into further feats of horsepower production, perhaps he can get Golden Dreamer moving fast enough that the overflows stream aft and become siphons. They will then empty the heads without any deckies having to don elbow length rubber gloves and waders to perform flow restoration activities to the fundamental plumbing apparatus.

I don't think Tmac coaxes, he just does it. The Injuns have never blown up yet, and if they do I suspect we will all go with them, probably at a speed above 30 knots.

Gentlemen. I am sworn to secrecy about what goes on below and our highly classified booster . system. Suffice it to sday that at our best speed so far our engines have only been used at 50% of their potential.

Those mighty waves of spray are very impressive, Dartskipper. Good job the accelration bowled you over backwards, we only had about 30 seconds of Warp speed, and that is plenty when we are still in harbour.

Send some compensation anonymously to the small craft we ...amended...

Hey you are supposed to sound a warning before hitting the big red Button. Tmac will not be happy to be caught out like that.

Did no one think to check the weather to the West of the Strait of Gibraltar??? Even with the stabilisers deployed my gimballed rum glass managed to slop a couple of drops overboard.

Oh! Well, at this speed we chould be in calmer waters in a couple of hours.

Bridge: Suggest we steer West by South 3/4 South for the next little while -- stay clear of the weather mess a bit further North.

Cutouts -- check the best before date on the condensed milk in the emergency lifeboat stores. Replace it with current supplies and bring the outdated stuff to the bridge --- it is perfectly good to put in the cocoa (and rum) in the middle of the graveyard watch.

Kali needs a shave and a lesson on using the proper tools for the job. Tmac won't find an unrounded nut or unstretched thread anywhere in the pit unless you gets those ceremonial elephant stillson's off her.

I do see what you mean, Tom, if the isobars were contours there would be some big hills out there right now. We'll ease round the low pressures and then just itty up the coast when it is better.

I have never understood why a Cocoa/rum/Conny-onny mix is not commercially available. Put life back into a statue.

Helmsman, steer round that nasty lump of weather.

Probably because those landlubber types don't appreciate a really stiff one when they taste it! What can you expect when you've been raised on Baby Cham & Mimosas. Besides which they have no idea how well a Cocoa/rum/Conny-onny goes down when you've spent the last two hours freezing your youknowwhatoffs in the blinding snow on the wing of the bridge in the middle of the North Atlantic.

Lets have another one!!

Ah, a borrowing vessel. I've mine here too may I have a drop more? Mind you, I've never found that lots of alcohol equates to a 'stiff one'.

Any chance you could pour some down the ER voice pipe?... we are all suffering from the dreaded lurgey down here and that wonderful mixture would be a blessed relief.

Tmac, any request from you will be granted (within reason and biological feasibility). The lurgey will fly away in the face of this ambrosia, I am sending as much as you wish.

Get well, my friend.

Eh? What happened to the self serve increased flow rate feature we added to the voice pipe some time ago??? Checked the Black Bush header tank on the Monkey Island and it seems to be pressed up.

So -- pour some down?? The next thing we know you'll want some pukka steward type with a bow tie and white gloves to serve it to you down in the pit on a silver tray.
