A ship in the East Bound lane would usually board her pilot off Cherbourg - at least they did thirty years ago!

Stranded in the suez canal

Then bound Felixstowe followed by dry docking in Dunkirk. Presumably they will offload all the remaining boxes in Felixstowe.

Yes I noticed that yesterday, is that for dry-docking then, or discharge of last boxes.

At Felixstowe anchorage, but as said, route forecast to Suez, maybe more than propulsion problems! Ever Mystery!

Was it part of the deal that she would go to Europe to unload then return to Suez.

They're going to given the Suez pilots another go. This time getting video as well as voice? (Make a good Walport educational number).

A long way without earning to get to a FE repairer perhaps the data entry makes it easy to select a previous or, perhaps, originally planned destination.

With Covid related travel restrictions currently in force around the World, it could be cheaper to send the vessel to the engineers rather than t'other way about.

No 6 dry dock at Malta, 362m x 62m x 9.3m, quoted somewhere as the length of three football pitches!

Strange - speed still only 8 - 11 kts!! Could be attempting to slot into rotation schedule or more likely in my suspicious mind - something wrong with the beast!

I gathered that a speed limit was part of the conditions pending repairs.
She was max 12kt on the northbound.
