Well, it would appear that there are a lot of sore heads on the GD at present, so, LISTEN UP EVERYONE.

Do, pulease, hold off on the Dom until Thursday when I will have a significant birthday, they are ones ending in a nought, or in Tmacs case, a double nought. I will supply the cake, which will be double rum and chocolate. No candles though as a fire at sea can be a dreadful thing.

Tmac, I am so pleased to hear that you are up and out, sorry that should be about. Pray tell, what does RTFM stand for? Maybe Return To First Mate?

RTFM stands for Read The Fascinating Manual. something no-one ever does, because until you have got the thing working by trial and error, you can't understand the ======= thing, after all until you have twisted button B off and fixed it back on you don't know it is a button. I have a feeling that your birthday could be taking place in Nassau, Tom, what do you think? Could be a good place to be.

Nassau, sounds good to me Farmer John. I believe it is lovely and the climate good, so maybe I will pack my bikini and hope to spend some time ashore on a white beach, instead of the deck of the GD with all those pesky plasticos hovering around. At least I think it is the pesky plasticos that hang around.

Tmac1720,
I suspect that you may have the same version of TFM that I have never read.

28 knots means the Green button + 3.14. Tmac, would you please be so kind as to arrange that? Sir William, I think it would be appropriate to lend your Titanium card to Red 17 so she can shop her heart out in the Straw Market. Also, there's a private beach on the North East side of Paradise Island where she won't need her bikini.

ah now I love those kind of beaches (brought up near one) Nothing beats the feeling of naturism and the breeze over your skin. Male crew need to be careful swimming though. Some of the fish are a bit strange to say the least.

We could do 28k easily if our highly esteemed Chief Injuneer fired up the Port up and down wheezy banger as well. Just get Squeek to lean on the go faster lever a bit harder.

25 knots is our economical speed.thats with engines a little above tick over. we can make 40 if we need to and 70 with the red button down. just request revs for 28 knots with prescribed quantity of Black Bush and your wish shall be granted.

As I said, Green button + 3.14 --that's 25 knots + Pi --- Black bush flavoured pie -- now isn't that a dainty dish to set before the Monarch up the up and down wheezy bangy thingies. (Equates into 28 knots as requested.) (Tmac - check the voice pipe )

Never mind the white sand, Sir William, we need to find a fresh supply of white rum and coconut milk. And ice cubes.

I can attest that the tarbenders in Nassau concoct the finest Pina Coladas I have ever tasted. They also do some mean BBQ items as well -- all in those little grass hut thingies on the beach.

I'm sure that we can lure the ladies on the beach to a pool party on the GD.

You really should ensure they change their boiler suits more often. Fortunately we can't smell them up here.

I need more notice for outside burned food. I like my bird droppings, twigs and unchocolated ants sent from Fortnum's not to fall-in or climb-up by themselves.

Well it's Thursday, it's our friend and colleagues milestone birthday, the plasticos are serving champagne, the food is good, some silly bugger will be playing Sloop John B, they always are, a toast to Red17, happy Birthday and many more of them. A perfect occasion.
