Correct --- probably too easy -- but he sure scares the heck out of unsuspecting passersby when he reaches out to shake hands.

Living statues? Has anyone walked through Trafalgar Square recently? I do so once a month for a nautical reunion and the first time I saw them about 3, maybe 4, years ago I thought they were quite good but now when walking from one side towards Pall Mall there must be about ten of them and they are now just more tourist tat. I suppose the response is 'got to earn a living somehow' and if people want to put money in the box then that is their choice. Not mine though.

I saw some "living statues" in San Sebastian, and one of them was portraying the Statue of Liberty. She looked very authentic with very green make - up. All was going well until a young boy crept up behind her and pinched her bum.

More about the theft/damage of the statues here:

https://www.wheal-martyn.com/2017/04...geted-thieves/

There is a slight connection between these statues and 'living statues' - In both cases real clothing treated to remain rigid has been used.

2. Where is it and who's house is it.

Also still no answer to photo 1. in post 142.

Can't do anything with the old one...but have been there on both the new ones:-
The Hunter is at the entrance to RAF Valley on Anglesey.
The House is Sandringham and HM The Queen wasn't in residence when the picture was taken.

No 1 - Flags of US States.
The one with the Union flag in the canton is Hawaii. (North Sandwich Islands). - 8 stripes for eight islands.

No 2 Looks something like Charlestown in Cornwall - but not 100% certain.

There is a load of choice and they tend to be different each year...
Probably either Alaska or Chile - I would opt for Alaska, but don't know which glacier.
