IOM....Could be an interesting experience. 3 legged men, Cats with no tails, huge water wheel and noisy Motor cycles.
I do hear some of the Bars are well worth a visit

Might even manage a visit to the stately home of a D Varley if we have time. Must dig out a case of vintage port just in case.

Ah the home seas, you can't beat a quick trip ashore for Christmas.

I think Tmac has proven his mettle (and kindness) by giving us the Orange button +. ?We currently have Bishop Rock abeam to starboard and should be in Douglas tomorrow morning.

Best let Tmac know. He's up in the funnel suite practising on his Lambeg. Must be planning a Christmas concert.

McCloggie, the plaggy stewards will be erecting and maintaining bars for the arriving in Douglas and the celebrating of the festive season. If you want a particular brew on tap, let me know and it shall be done.
Cuurently we have Timothy Taylor's Landlord bitter (for me), Stella Artois and Oranjeboom (for Sir William), Black Bush (Tmac), Four Bells (Tom), Gripetini unshakeable (Varley) and of course enough Champagne of the best sort to lubricate the stern tube of an Aircraft carrier. That's my list so far, ask and it will be tapped.

Here we are in Douglas -- Mr. McCloggie, please ensure that we are doubled up and the rat guards installed.. (We don't want Squeek sneaking off on unauthorised shore leave!) Varley, I think the least you could have done is get the local brass band playing on the dock to welcome us. Perhaps Tmac scared them off with his Lambeg. With a name like McCloggie, our MAA could probably accompany Tmac on his kazoo pipes to great effect.

Never been in Douglas but I'm sure he is a "nice" boy and very accommodating Never really had much success with the Manx ladies either, that third leg just seemed to get in the way

I never knew if it was a fault in the design, or a bad crease in the blueprint.

Secured and doubled up with rat guards in place.
Although I would love to join Tmac for a musical interlude I am worried it might attract my old friends from the police force so reckon I will give it a miss! There used to be a bar in Douglas called The Dogs Home and that is where the problems started over 30 years ago so I will give that one a swerve as well. As for the ladies with three legs, if they are the real thing, can they multi- task and look after two blokes at once? McC |

If they have two left legs, or two right legs, they can only run around in circles, so they could never escape.
McCloggie's assessment of the design fault is intriguing, if not worrying. But then, on the other hand, she was wearing a glove. |
