I'd better not open those tins of White Lead and Tallow then. The mind is boggling on all twelve cylinders!

Very good!! Muster them in the PAX lounge -- Life of Riley party - Sir William offered his tab for tonight, so we can definitely have a Life of Riley theme. Think I'll wear my "piano playing" rig -- Black tuxedo pants, open neck white dress shirt with my maroon silk housecoat with the black sash over the top. Highly polished black dress shoes with spit and polished toecaps, of course. Unlit Black Russian Sobranie in a 6" gold cigarette holder too! |

Ah - so that's what you mean by the Life of Riley theme.
I was going to turn up dressed as the Irish builder in Fawlty Towers! Right, back to the cabin and on with the Great Gatsby gear. McC |

I found this recently, and I feel it was probably shot at an earlier time on the GD.

I'm just going to check the hanging closet to see;
a) If my best dinner suit is still hanging there. b) If I can still fit into it. c) If it fits without too much lateral strain on the buttons, then look for my best Gucci loafers. d) And black silk socks. e) And white dress shirt. f) And cravat. Otherwise it will have to be that tee shirt I acquired in that market several stops ago. The one with the fake dinner jacket and bow tie printed on it. |

anybody seen my Tartan boiler suit? the one with the Badger handbag on the front... if it can't be found I'll be having my dinner down the pit and not the Pax lounge.. but at least Squeek and Eric are in full mess dress so they make the guest list

Bit of a sheet, some felt tip pens and we will make you up a tartan toga, the Badger handbag can be simulated by some talcum powder strategically applied to what nature gave you, you will be FINE. Fine figure of a man such as yourself.

AND -- if push comes to shove we have an excellent selection of tartan paints in the fo'c'stle head. Which Clan would Tmac prefer d'ye think?? We can just roll on whatever he thinks historically accurate. As for the handbag in front, I have a glass lined stainless steel 1 litre bottle covered in mink --- it's filled with Black Bush -- that should do the trick.

Mr. McCloggie -- strike sail, please. Dartskipper, please ask (very nicely, of course) for Tmac to go to the Green button. New York the day after tomorrow. Personal contraband can be secreted in the starboard wing tank marked "Sewage tank". in way of the tonnage hatch A special "smelly" barrier lock will keep even the most ardent customs official at bay.

I passed your polite request on to Tmac, Tom, but I don't think he heard me. It wasn't the usual ambient noise of machinery, but the strange wailing sound coming out of a weird looking piece of equipment he was wrestling with.
