Evergiven
She is due to enter the Suez Canal today, no doubt with very senior SCA pilots on board. Good luck and Bon voyage this time.

4 tugs and a JCB on Stand By.

Given the damage we saw last time, perhaps we could put a woolly glove on the bucket of the JCB.

According to the Guardian newspaper she has cleared the canal and is now heading towards the Red Sea, what a load of rubbish he should be sacked. She was accompanied by two tugs.

She is now heading for Rotterdam. The SCA will shortly be increasing dues by 6% to transit the canal

I presume that the 6% increase is to enable them to claw back their losses while the canal was blocked?

Perhaps they want to buy a bigger JCB.

Evergiven now in Rotterdam, at least she made it with no mishaps, cutting it a bit fine to get her cargo into the shops for Christmas.
