The sinking of the U S S Indianapolis

On April 15th 1912 Titanic sank with over 1500 deaths and on may 7 1915 Lusitania sank with over 1,218 deaths and this I'm going to tell you about is way different than the others this is the sinking of the U S S Indianapolis. It was 1945 and World War 2. And the U S S Indianapolis was on its way to Guam carrying a mysterious cargo it was the 1st atomic bomb or the little boy as it was called. After dropping it off it set sail to another country until it was spotted by I 58 Japanese submarine. And was torpedoed. It caught fire and sank in only a few minutes as for the crew rescue wasn't coming. Many of the crew nearly went crazy but worst of all sharks came. Only 320 of the crew survived.

Maybe this thread could be shifted to US Navy, not Royal Navy.
