Welcome 448cb, I do indeed know who you are, enough to say "been there, done that and got the tee shirt". Was also set adrift in a hovercraft without a paddle but that's another story!

I'm here!!
I was a "Ships Nostalgia" regular follower but that site deceived me a lot recently. It is even difficult to find again a picture you yourself posted. I hope this new site will be in the old Ships Nostalgia wake differently from the present site bearing that name. It goes without saying that I'am an old date shiplover, I live in Genoa (Italy), well known town for its harbour, where I used to go before ISPS restrictions.

Anyway I hope I will have the occasions of appreciating this new site and my best greetings to all of you.

Welcome aboard.

I work a lot with Lercari, loss adjusters since the 1700's in Genoa, who you may have heard of - Via Roma 8A. I was last there two years ago, parking in the Picapietra Car Park! Genoa is a great and historic city.

448cb. I think it important you tell us if it is your honouraryness that has been taken away or or your Corkiness. I would have to think about leaving SH if it started allowing dishonorary joiners. Corkiness is fine providing you don't mind a ribbing.

We all know where Dublin is I go there every year for the Redneck Games.
