Hello all
I've had a lifetimes interest with the sea and shipping. I served a marine apprenticeship with the MoD(N) or Admiralty as it was when I started, on completion I joined the Royal Fleet Auxiliary as an Engineer Officer where I stayed for 18 years until a knee problem forced me to retire early, I then had a complete career change when after gaining the required qualifications spent 18 years working as a Clinical Engineering Technician within a very large hospital in the NHS.
