Orange Juice and Cocaine

A sealed metal box containing cocaine has been found in the bow thruster compartment of an orange juice tanker in Brazil.

Orange juice tanker? Are we sure the reporter wasn't distracted by a tangerine sky?

Varley,

Yes! the first time I heard of an Orange juice tanker I was somewhat doubtful but they are around.

It could be orange juice destined for industrial solvents.

It may not be a tanker as such - It seems that most such vessels carry the juice in large refrigerated stainless steel tanks fitted within the holds of what would be a normal reefer.

A few of these juice tankers around - one company that specializes in the juice trade being Atlanship SA of Switzerland.
