Outlook ????

Email this morning (EST Oz time) will not open for some reason and neither will Excel or Word as I found out later. I assume all three are/were part of Outlook 2010.

Has anyone got any helpful suggestions for a computer dinosaur as to what I might do or try other than putting the whole lot over the side, please?

Geoff (YM)

I think you mean they are part of Office 2010, if you have the installation disc just reinstall Office.

There are free MS Office type programs available, Open Office is one you can download it here

Thanks John.

Yes, I got my names wrong The three programs (Outlook, Word and Excel) are all part of Office 2010 as you say.

I have (err had) the original installation disc but, of course, I can't find it. Typical you may well rightly say!

Anyway I found an Office 2010 repair thingy on the net and it bloody worked to my utter amazement.

Thanks again.

Geoff

Be careful when you open attachment like that. You did not say if you knew who sent it or what it was about. If you not knew who sent it and it not opened than it may be an attempt to place viruses or ransom ware on your PC. The reason it not opened is what Windows defender not let you open it.
