Hello from South Carolina

Hello from a one time galley boy.

Is this to be a standing-by job, a short home trade, or deep-sea articles? If it starts to become a series of squabbles , or using grammar faults, spelling mistakes, or pointing out typos as a means to win a point, as it is on S.N. then it will be a home trade trip for me. I'm hoping it will be deep sea articles.

Looking forward to a pleasant and interesting voyage.

Rodney

From an Old Athelian

Hello!
I heard the "Abandon Ship" klaxon on t'other Forum and washed up on here!
Was Chestermax on the other forum but changed to Islay for the simpe reason that wee West coast island makes some of the best Malt Whisky around!
Hoping to meet other old Athelians - and indeed other old tars - for some serious banter and a shed load of memory stirrings!
